February 13, 2017
(VOXtra) - Voicing video games: is that your dream?
Or do you want pointers for delving deeper into this enticing VO genre?
Tune into tonight's Voice Over Body Shop (VOBS) webcast (starting at 6 pm Pacific at www.vobs.tv), to learn from video game voice over producer Chris Borders, who is CEO of TikiMan Productions, a leading voice over production company.
"We'll talk about the booming video game business and opportunities for voice actors in that genre," notes Dan Lenard (the Home Studio Master), who co-hosts the show with George Whittam (voice over audio consultant to the stars).
"Chris has produced the voice overs for many AAA multi-million selling video game titles since the mid 1990s," Dan explains. Among them are Mass Effect (2007), Forgotten Realms: Baldur's Gate II - Shadows of Amn (2000), and Gears of War (2006).
The guys will also continue their DAWVIEW 2017 review of voice over recording and editing software and techniques.
You can join the discussion, too, in the lively, interactive chatroom, and also send questions now and during the show to email@example.com.
Every Monday night, this entertaining and informative weekly webcast also features news from VoiceOverXtra. The lively chatroom becomes a side show in itself! And the hosts answer home voice over studio tech questions, plus look at what else is new in VO tech
The online event starts at 9 p.m. Eastern; 8 p.m. Central; 7 p.m. Mountain; 6 p.m. Pacific.
Past shows can also be viewed any time on YouTube and at the VO-BS website: www.vobs.tv.
