The Daytime Emmy Awards: 'Best' Performers
In Animation Programs - Winners & Nominees

(VOXtra) - The 46th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards put nearly a dozen voices in the spotlight this weekend when winners of the Creative Arts Awards were announced and honored for "Best Performer" in Animated and PreSchool Animated TV programs.

Along with the winners in each category, nominees (who had been announced earlier) were again noted at the May 3 Gala at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, CA.

Winner - Jay Baruchel, "Dragons: Race to the Edge"

  • Bob Bergen - "Wabbit: A Looney Toons Production" (also an awards presenter)

  • Mark Hamill, "Kulipari: Dream Walker"
  • Marieve Herington, "Big City Greens"
  • Ruth Negga, "Angela's Christmas
BEST PERFORMER IN A PRESCHOOL ANIMATED PROGRAM

Winner - Ben Diskin, "Muppet Babies"

  • Eric Bauza, "Muppet Babies"
  • Steve Buscemi, "Elena of Avalor"
  • Devan Cohen, "Dan Tiger's Neighborhood
  • Olivia Manning, "Butterbean's Cafe"
Winners of the Daytime Emmys for Best Actor, Actress, Drama, etc. were announced at a Sunday night Gala at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium.
