HUMOR
Voice Recognition Technology -
Gives Us A Laugh, If Not A Lift ...

(VOXtra) - When the recorded voice on the phone (hey - maybe it's yours!) asks you to state what your call is about, does your reply start softly ... and wind up shouting? Like, within 60 seconds you've become a crazy person shouting into the phone?

Well, you're not alone. So you gotta see this short video. (Thanks, David Zema, for passing it our way.)

I don't really know much about voice recognition technology and how it is developed, however I believe there still is no equal to the warmth and character of the human voice. Thanks for bringing a good laugh to my day! Funny, funny stuff!

This is funny, John! Whenever my husband and I encounter a voice recognition system, we walk to a quiet corner of the house and proceed to (calmly) yell the responses into the phone slowly and clearly. It's pretty amusing for anyone listening, and I must say that it's usually effective. Thanks for the morning funny!!

Hilarious video. Represents my frustration also with the whole idea of voice recognition systems. They are a long way from being fool proof. I believe we humans have reached a point of out smarting ourselves and blowing it!!

BTW, I personally do not use the voice recognition systems of my cell phone or automobile, and won't until they are perfected.
