Superstar Scott Brick Tonight On VOBS Webcast

(VOXtra) - He works in the major leagues of audiobook publishing - narrating the big-name books for top publishers and winning the accolades and awards befitting a superstar.

But see and hear Scott Brick tonight on the
Voice Over Body Shop (VOBS) webcast (starting at 6 pm PT / 9 pm ET on and you'll enjoy a warm colleague grounded in helping us all succeed. (Not that we'll soon catch up to his 850+ narration credits.)

"Scott has narrated bestsellers and Pulitizer Prize-winning books for every major publisher since his debut in 1999," notes Dan Lenard (the Home Studio Master), who co-hosts the webcast with George Whittam (VO audio tech guru).

And you know the titles, like Jurassic Park, Fahrenheit 451, In Cold Blood, Mystic River and Helter Skelter.

In addition to winning more than 50 Earphone Awards, he's received five Audie Awards, including two for his work on the Dune saga.

In 2004, AudioFile Magazine proclaimed Scott a "Golden Voice" and called him "one of the fastest-rising stars in the audiobook galaxy." His trajectory has continued to soar, including with profiles in The Wall Street Journal, The Los Angeles Times and Entertainment Weekly.

In 2012, Publishers Weekly named Scott their Audiobook Narrator of the Year for the second time, and his work on the multi-voice recording of The Mark of Zorro was nominated for a Grammy.

And Scott doesn't keep his technique to himself. In 2015 he began teaching the nation's first and only fully-accredited university course in audiobook narration at UCLA.

He's also just completed work on his first novel, a supernatural thriller based on an 18th century murder in New England.
