NAVA Announces Award Winners To Be Honored
At Dec. 12 Gala. Virtual Gala Tickets Available
December 4, 2025

(VOXtra) – Bill Farmer, the voice of Disney’s Goofy since 1987 and Pluto since 1990, will be honored with the NAVA Foundation Icon Award – one of many awards to be presented at the National Association of Voice Actors’ NAVA Foundation Benefit Gala at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles on Friday, December 12.

“His voice has shaped our memories and has been a part of our lives in countless ways,” notes the NAVA awards announcement about Farmer. “He is truly a voiceover icon.”

In-person attendance at the Gala sold out within 10 hours when announced in July, but tickets to attend via Zoom are available here for a suggested donation of $35. The virtual events from 5 to 11pm Pacific include games, participation in NAVA's fundraising silent auction and of course, the awards presentations. Voice actor Danielle Famble's keynote address is slated for 5:20pm.

"The NAVA Gala is a chance for us to gather together to celebrate and support the voiceover industry,” says NAVA Vice President and Co-Founder Carin Gilfry.

“In a time when AI is taking over so much of entertainment, it is more important than ever to champion amazing human actors, community leaders, and service providers,” she adds. “We are thrilled to present these awards to such deserving people and organizations."
