How Freelance Voice Actors Can Obtain COVID-19 Financial Help: VO/Attorney Rob Sciglimpaglia

There is a lot of information - and misinformation - out there about how to receive COVID-19 financial assistance.

With that in mind, on April 5 I interviewed attorney, voice actor and good friend Robert Sciglimpaglia about how freelancers like voice actors can apply for that financial help - based on what we know now about these programs.

In the video interview below, we cover:
  • The Stimulus Check: who will qualify for it, when will they get it, and how they will get it.
  • Filing for Unemployment: who qualifies, where to apply, how much could be received, how to file a claim weekly, what income should be declared.
  • Applying for a (hopefully forgivable) Loan: as a sole proprietor, a corporation, and as a small business.
