It's Cartoon Pilot Season / Chicago
Patrick Fraley and Deb Doetzer / Chicago
Be one of 10 participants in this one-day Patrick Fraley event, and learn how to perform four different styles of animation character voices. You’ll act out multiple roles in four new TV animation pilots, with an emphasis on acting protocol and multiple character technique. Fraley is among the top 10 animated TV show performers of all time, recently performing in Boxtrolls, nominated for a 2014 Oscar Award for Best Animated Film. He is the first recipient of the Vanguard Award for Excellence in Voice Over Education. This event’s guest director is Deb Doetzer, who has done voice over work in animation, interactive games, toys, narration, and commercials. She guides students in VO and performance skills at the Second City Training Center, Acting Studio Chicago, and DePaul University. This event is limited to 10 participants; teacher approval required.
