VOICE OVER AWARDS
Congratulations To 2022 SOVAS Voice Arts®
Award Nominees In Scores Of Categories
November 9, 2022

(VOXtra) - Nominees in scores of categories - from Animation and Audiobooks to Video Games, Virtual Reality and Websites - have been announced for the 2022 Voice Arts® Awards.

It's the 9th annual awards competition presented by the Society of Voice Arts and Sciences (SOVAS), celebrating "the best of voice acting and media production."

And soon we'll learn the winners in each category - on Sunday, December 18 at the Voice Arts® Awards Gala 2022, at the Warner Bros. Studio in Burbank, CA (ticket info). VoiceOverXtra will post the winners.

Award categories grow annually, fueled in recent years by the inclusion of work in more languages and nations, SOVAS President and CEO Rudy Gaskins told VoiceOverXtra in an earlier article.

For instance, English-speaking African nations have been added to categories this year, along with more opportunities in Spanish, Arabic and Portuguese languages. And three categories honor "Outstanding Body of Work." Nominees in these are:
  • Outstanding Body of Work - Best Voice Actor: Stephane Cornicard and Teri Clark Linden
  • Outstanding Body of Work - International - Best Voiceover: Marios Gavrilis and Yukiko Fujimura
  • Outstanding Body of Work - Best Spanish Voiceover: Caro Cappiello and Ernesto Panama

Congratulations and good luck to all!
