Melt Down! Mix Down!
Patrick Fraley and Deb Doetzer / Chicago
There’s no lecture during this record-’til-you-drop Sunday VO session. Instead, you'll learn in front of the mic with Patrick Fraley and Deb Doetzer (left) as you record commercials, audio sketches, and scripts, and hone your skills in comedy, acting, improv, characters, dialects, and mic technique. Your recorded tracks from the session will be mixed down with sound processing, sound effects, and music for use on your demo. Event host Patrick Fraley is one of the most respected voice over teachers in North America. Guest Deb Doetzer directs students in voice over and performance skills at the Second City Training Center, Acting Studio Chicago, and DePaul University.The event is limited to 10 participants; teacher approval required.
