Animation & Video Game Audition Technique

What are the secrets to
nailing auditions for animation and video games? During this one-day event,
veteran voice over talent Patrick Fraley
and casting pro Sara Sherman (left)
will show you how to effectively fulfill audition character descriptions and
construct auditions that get casting attention; they will also explain insider
slating tricks and how to out-smart the competition. Fraley attributes his long
career to out-thinking the competition and passing along his skills to fellow
performers. Sherman has been casting cartoons for 15 years and is responsible
for casting about 6 animated Disney Channel pilots per year. Event is limited
to 10 participants; teacher approval required.
Voice Over Beginners: In-Studio Voiceover Classes Begin, with Marc Cashman

Five 3-hour in-studio classes, on Saturdays from Oct. 31-Dec. 5 (except for Thanksgiving weekend), help voice over beginners to decipher VO scripts effortlessly, direct themselves effectively, listen and understand direction, perform powerfully and consistently, navigate the business of voiceover, and much more. Led by top voice talent/coach Marc Cashman, the classes also give students recordings of every session and a V-O Report Card assessment of their voice acting skills. Saturdays from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m.
