Audiobook Fiction and Dialogue Skills

Fiction provides the most work for audiobook narrators, and this one-day class delves into advanced skills for fiction and dialogue. In addition to recording excerpts that may be used on your demo, you’ll learn how to connect with publishers and producers beyond ACX; how to research, network, record, and bid; and how to negotiate for more money. Teachers for this class are Patrick Fraley, who has been performing audiobooks for more than 20 years and has guided more performers into book deals than anyone in the history of the audiobook industry; and teacher/publisher/performer Scott Brick (at left), who has narrated more than 600 titles in nearly every genre, garnering dozens of audio awards. Class size limited to 10 participants; teacher approval required.
