'Crafting Comedy Under The Stars'
... Jump On Stage To Learn, Oct. 2
July 28, 2010
What if Pat Fraley and Brad Garrett invited their friends and colleagues - who cast, act, agent, direct and produce - to jump on stage, and share their wisdom and experiences in voice over comedy? You'd probably want to be in that audience. And even to jump on stage yourself!
You know Pat - the multi-award winning voice star and teacher who is among the top 10 performers of all time to be cast in TV animated programs.
He and pal Brad - the Emmy-winning TV and film star, voice actor and comedian - rocked the house with their ad lib comedy routines at VOICE 2010 in June (pictured).
And now on Saturday, Oct. 2, Pat and Brad will keep us all rocking with Crafting Comedy Under The Stars, an entertaining and educational day-long event at the Edgemar Center of the Arts, in Santa Monica, CA.
PERFORM WITH STARS
"The most effective way of learning voice over comedy is to perform alongside those who gained fame and success from it, and who know how to share their skills," Pat says.
"Actors will jump on stage and work with the participants," he tells VoiceOverXtra. "And others who cast and direct will chime in with wisdom and direction.
"Their comments and guidance will be a huge bonus."
