 Voice actor Jeff Gelder invites submissions for this season's Holiday Magic CD, which he annually sends and delivers to children's hospitals nationwide in December.

 The holiday season should be magical for children – especially when they're confined to a hospital bed. Voice actor Jeff Gelder is spreading that holiday cheer for the seventh year – and he invites other voice actors and singers to join him now in creating the magic.
Like Santa Claus in the North Pole workshop, Gelder uses his San Diego GelderHead Productions studio to produce the annual CD, Holiday Magic, A Gift for Children of All Ages.
"It’s a holiday recording to brighten the holidays of the children and their siblings at children's hospitals across the country,” Gelder explains.
Last year's CD was "a huge success with great talent and 1,500 copies going to the children's hospitals in San Diego, Orange County, Milwaukee, New York, Miami, New Orleans, Houston and Albuquerque," he notes.

 TO CONTRIBUTE ... To contribute to the CD, submit a song, story, riddle or rhyme - anything that welcomes holiday time, Gelder says.
"Make it less than four minutes, and please send it on CD or e-mail a wav, aif or MP3 file. Character voices are encouraged."
All entries must be complete and fully recorded for use. The top 15 to 20 will be selected based on creativity, generosity and theme. Gelder adds that the selected participants will be included on the CD with acknowledgements, and receive:
A HOLIDAY TALE
The CD's tale is weaved by Jeffrey the surfer reindeer and Santa Claus, as they make their way from the North Pole to visit the children. And each year features something different.
In 2005, kids met Jeffrey’s cousin, Carlito, who lives at the Wild Animal Park.
In 2006, they enjoyed Kate the adventurous teenage reindeer from Milwaukee.
In 2007, it was Peeschwank the Porcupine from New Orleans, and last year Rudolph, Donner and Blitzen joined the cast.

Cash donations are also appreciated for the project.
"Please consider donating $50 or as much as possible," says Gelder. "No amount is too big or too small. Every $3 will bring a CD to a child."
