![]() VOICE 2010 Registration Officially Opens ...
Voice-Over Industry Gathers In LA June 2-5
August 26, 2009
Executive producers James R. Alburger and Penny Abshire announced today that registration is now officially open for the third VoiceOver International Creative Experience, or VOICE 2010, slated for June 2-5 at the Century Plaza Hyatt Regency Hotel in Los Angeles. To register right away or to get more information about the VOICE 2010 conference, click here. "We suggest you act quickly to get your registration in - even though we're 10 months away," say the co-producers, who also operate The VoiceActing Academy and VoiceActing LLC, based in San Diego. "There are only a certain number of rooms available at the Hyatt and you'll definitely want to be at the hotel - that's where all the fun stuff happens!”
GROWING ANNUALLY
More than 500 voice-over talent, coaches and industry professionals attended VOICE 2008.
That's more than double the attendance at the first conference, say the co-producers.
“We anticipate and look forward to an even larger turnout at VOICE 2010."
The conference was created exclusively for the voice acting community but is open to all those involved in the entertainment field.
EDUCATION AND MORE
The conference focuses on a three-tiered theme: Education, Technology and Community.
In addition to presentations from some of the top voice-over performers and coaches from around the world, there will be panels and special events. A Red Carpet Reception is planned for the evening before the conference opens (June 2) - giving those who attend the opportunity to "hob knob" with a who's who of voice talent in Los Angeles, as well as mingle with their fellow conference attendees.
VOICE 2010 will feature slightly longer sessions, more special events, more exhibitors, and extra time to network, the producers add.
Also, session pre-registration has been eliminated. All conference programs will be open seating, so attendees will be able to attend any program they wish.
GALA BANQUET
The closing event of VOICE 2010 will once again be a Gala Banquet featuring an extra-special surprise guest (or guests), the producers note. Also on the program will be the presentation of the VOICE 2010 Community Award. "You won't want to miss this," says Abshire.
'KNOCK SOCKS OFF'
"We are extremely excited about the support of the voice-over community and the high caliber presenters who are already on board and who will share their expertise and techniques for successful voice-over careers," say Alburger and Abshire. "We have some interesting things planned and some very exciting surprises that will knock your socks off!"
